Description
The father is a pretty large Rhode Island Red. The mother is either one of my Plymouth Barred Rock laying hens or a Rhode Island Red. The crosses are also known as a “Black sexlink” and the hens are said to lay better than either of the parent breeds. They are mostly black with red/gold on the neck and chest.
